DEETER FOUNDRY 2015 - Current

Production Manager

I manage 25 people spread over 5 different departments on 2nd shift. I use my experience

to ensure proper molding technique to minimize production down time and scrap. I utilize

my mechanical knowledge of this facility to minimize our maintenance down time. My

strong emphases on safety has greatly reduced our lost time accidents on 2nd shift. My

ability to motivate my employees allows me to get there maximum performance available.

DEETER FOUNDRY 2009 - 2014

Maintenance

One of two maintenance persons to manage and maintain third shift production. Repair any aspects of our production while minimizing our operating down time. On non production days I inspect our equipment and generate work orders on parts that are worn and need to be replaced. I also make the repairs that are generated by the work orders. The work includes hydraulic, pneumatic, welding, metal fabrication, pipe fitting, instrument control instillation, building maintenance and much more.

Millwright

Contract millwright and maintenance work for various companies in the Midwest area. Installed new equipment,constructed new structures, fabricated and welded many different types of projects.

Millwright

Started out as a laborer on the rail road crew. Worked myself on to the concrete and

framing crew. From there I advanced to the utilities and building division. My next move

was to the millwright division where I spent close to 8 years molding my welding and

fabricating skills. Contracting for many companies such as GOOD YEAR, FARMLAND ADM, AGP, BUNGE MILLING, LINCOLN WATER DEPT. OPPD, MUD.

Automotive experience

My automotive experience started at a young age working on our family’s cars and trucks with my father on our family farm. I have done several motor replacements, head gaskets, valve gaskets, alternator, fuel pump, water pump, radiator, battery, brake caliper, brake pads, ect.
