PROFILE

As an operations manager in the fitness industry for 8 years, I have valuable communication and interpersonal skills, enabling me to influence, develop and motivate other team members in order to help staff develop into instructors. Working to overcome a range of operational and customer service challenges, I have developed strong decision-making skills and the ability to provide solutions to problems to improve client experience, which has resulted in higher club occupancy and lower running costs. Managing timetables and instructors

Implementing Virgin Active innovations into the timetable

Supporting both senior and typical Group Exercise Managers

Organising instructor auditions and training dates

Acting General Manager for two weeks (VA Moorgate)

Increasing Occupancy at Moorgate from 72% to 81% Since March 2014 and reducing costs, training and supporting the inhouse PT team.

Increasing Occupancy From 41% to 49% from September 2013 and reducing cost by 11%.

Virgin Active Classic Twickenham, Virgin Active Strand & Virgin Active Kingston

I was the Cluster Manager for the London Classic region for 12 months, running the programme across 10 clubs. Key responsibilities included:

Chief organizer for large scale events including Turfs Up 2013 & 2014 and “Tour de Twick” 2014

Increasing Twickenham class occupancy from 46% to 76% in 16 months

Increasing The Strand class occupancy from 66% to 84% in 12 months
