WORK EXPERIENCE

COMPANY: Unilever

JOB TITLE: Quality Inspector (in-service training)

PERIOD: 1 year 1 month

DUTIES:

●Analyze all incoming raw and packaging material for non-conformities against company’s specifications and standards

●Physical and chemical property analysis of finished products and raw materials.

●Maintaining inventory management system. i.e., Control of stock within the laboratory, including ordering, testing, and obtaining analysis certificates as required.

●Operation of lab equipment in accordance with best practice operations.

●Consumer Complaints - Analyses consumer and customer complaints and develop quality assurance improvement systems for the factory.

●Ensure calibration of all laboratory equipment are timeously done.

●Coordinates the activities of the Lab, ensure Unilever test methodology is followed by scoping and spacing of lab equipment where relevant.

●Manage the analytical process of quality stream during trials and run all analytical test for all factories, ensure supplier meets Unilever standards and drive Vertices with the supplier.

●Ensure proper waste management and good housekeeping is maintained

●Adherence to safety standards, food safety standards and Good Manufacturing practices (GMP)
