●As part of Lehigh Technologies’ executive management team, secured $35 million in venture capital funding from Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers (Kleiner-Perkins, Menlo Park, CA.) and Index Ventures (Geneva, Switzerland).

●Completed center of gravity study and detailed supply/demand forecasting to determine West Virginia as ideal location for Esseco sulfites chemical manufacturing plant in North America. Developed relationship with state government employees and worked closely with the Governor’s office to obtain tax incentives to lower plant construction and operating costs to optimize overall financial results.

●Reporting to the Board of Directors, led buy-out of General Chemical's Sulfites business via joint-venture with Esseco S.p.a. of Milan, Italy. Created and developed corporate infrastructure for the establishment of Esseco USA division in North America. In less than six months, hired a team, secured a new office location with design and build-out, IT systems, including purchase and implementation of ERP, all aspects of HR function including employee retirement plan, payroll and health insurance. With full profit & loss responsibility, the business was transitioned out of General Chemical to standalone division of Esseco USA with less than 2% loss of customer base and realized a 200% improvement of EBITDA in year one.
