Implementing personal protective equipment worn as needed. Healthcare Coordinator maintain a up to date schedule of individuals annual physical, quarterly labs, Psych clinic to review effects of psychotropic meds with pyschologist and implement any changes or discontinuance of medication. Patient and family teaching as ordered by the provider or prior to anything involving the patient or family that is new prior to implementation.

Wound care w/dressing changes, Tracheotomy care/suctioning, Peg-Tube feedings w/change in feeding as per standing order & flush and latency check, Nebulizer treatments, Oxygen as ordered monitoring Oxygen level, I.V therapy per doctor's order and monitor for free flow or interruption of I.V fluids as well as saline flush for continued patency. Current Lpn position is a clinical setting obtaining vital signs, sanitizing exam room and equipment after each patient, administer COVID vaccine injections as well as COVID testing; to include nursing section on D.O.T physicals.
I've worked as a team member with HIV, Asthma and Diabetes collaboratives. This entailed a focus on the particulars of each diagnosis. The collaboratives were implemented to offer focus on the overall patient's health and promote healthy living; which did require safe sex practice, weight loss, medication administration as a priority, performing (PFT) pulmonary function test, diet and exercise, patient teaching on how to read the measurement of a syringe for insulin injections and where on the body.
