Present Organization:

I have been working in L.G.B.FORGE LIMITED, Mysore since January 2017 to till date as a QA Engineer.

Performing in process quality assurance checks for visual defects.

Responsible to first piece and last piece approval in-line inspection for the Forging components.

Conducting the in-process inspection for the same.

Conducting Die correction for any non conformity found during forging process.

Co-ordination to PPAP, Quality assurance for FOA.

Root cause analysis & Corrective and Preventive Actions for NC products.

Implementing QMS and 7QC tools for appropriate analysis of detailed quality issues,

Arrange Instrument / Gauges for calibration periodically if there is required for the part.

Maintaining 5s in shop floor and safety equipped.

Scrap reduction and continuous improvement through KAIZEN.

Implement the KAIZEN proactively involving in improving Quality systems like Kaizen, 5S, 7QC tools etc and also in Fool proof System (POKA YOKE) and Daily work management.

Customer complaint analysis and 8D reports for root cause.

Metal matrix composite Aluminum reinforced with alumina.

Aluminum is in ingot form we are going to casting in stir casting method.

While casting alumina is added and heated 720c to obtain liquid after cooling the molten metal is poured in to cavity in which required specimens obtained.

Different dimension of specimen should make as per ASTM standard. After that machining as per required length.

We conduct test for tensile, compression, impact and hardness.

Testing conducted in UTM machine for tensile and compression whereas hardness as brinells and impact Izode.

Application will be used in automobile and aerospace industry since composite material has scope.
