MK HAJI Orphanage hospital is one of the tertiary referral hospital in Malappuram district Kerala, which is a run by a non - profit organization.
Worked as a specialist pediatrician in MK HAJI ORPHANAGE hospital, Tiruragadi, Kerala. Which is a 200 bedded multispecialty hospital with a well-equipped NICU and PICU, the hospital is handling almost 250+ deliveries per month on an average & approximately 20% high risk pregnancy. I had got immense opportunity to update myself by managing almost all kinds of neonatal and other pediatric emergencies. The pediatric department is comprised of 10 bedded well equipped NICU and 5 bed PICU. as a specialist paediatrician I am responsible for initial assesment, stabilization and management of all neonatology & paediatric patient attending emergency department. This includes patients with known serious alignment that are manged on OPD basis in ER as well as children with paediatric emergencies like seizures, exacerbation of asthama, severe dehydration, shock,septicemia, respiratory distress & failure,febrile encephalopathy,paediatric truma, poisoning, neonatal emergencies etc.Children requiring Intensive care or inpatient care are shifted there after initial stabilization. Am also directly responsible to oversaw all pediatric admissions in wards, high dependency unit and deliver care to critical newborns from birth to discharge, perform procedures to treat and manage cardiac disease, genetic disease, diaphragmatic hernias and other complex neonatalcases Complete neonatal followup assesment in hospital outpatient clinic, followup on neonatal nutritional disorder and management within NICU and post discharge.
