Work Experience:

After I graduated from Gharian medical School in Libya in 2007 I started work in a General Paediatric Polyclinic in Zintan for two years, where we diagnosed and treated children with the common paediatric illness ages from 1 month to 16 years. I was then fortunate to be selected for a Scholarship for postgraduate studying in Germany, where I studied the german language from 03.10.2010 – 01.03.2011 and then started work as a junior Paediatrician in Charité University hospital in Berlin. My Rotation was as follows:

-16.03. 2011 -31.12.2011 in the Neonatologie Department, level I. There I attended and treated both Term and Preterm Newborns starting from 23 weeks. I learnt to resuscitate and treat RDS and use the various Breathing Supports and can intubate newborns within the above-mentioned age Groups. As well as the common Problems associated with this age group such as Neonatal Sepsis, Jaundice and Hypoglycemia. I also learnt to scan the newborn Cranium, Hips and Kidneys and can detect and treat multiple Abnormalities.

-01.01.2012 -30.06.2012 in the Pulmonology and Allergology Department, where I attended and treated children with acute and chronic respiratory conditions, such as bronchial Asthma, Cystic Fibrosis and various cases of Immune Deficiency. I also learnt to perform and interpret Sweat tests and Lung function tests.

-01.07.2012 -31.03.2014, Maternity Leave.

-01.04.2014 -29.02.2015 in the Accident and Emergency Department / Intermediate Care Ward. here I learnt to treat the common acute paediatric emergencies and perform the various diagnostic procedures such as Lumbar Punctures, Suprapubic Aspirations and catheritization.

-01.03.2015- 28.02.2016 in the Deutsches Herzzentrum Berlin (Centre for Cardiac diseases), where children as well as Adults with congenital and acquired Heart disease are diagnosed and treated. During my Time here, I followed Patients on the Ward as well as in the Outpatient Clinic. Learnt how to medicate various Cardiac conditions, how to interpret the commonly used cardiac diagnostic methods such as ECGs and how to perform Echocardiographies.

-04/2016 passed the Facharzt Exam.

-Since 01.08.2016, in a paediatric outpatient Practise, where children’s Growth and Development is followed and assessed, any Abnormalities detected and managed. Acute Infections are treated. Vaccines are applied. Routine Screening for developmental Dysplasia of the Hip via Ultrasound at the age of 4 weeks.

-From 01.01.2021 to 30.05.2021 in a Paediatric Department, in Asklepios Hospital/ Schwedt –Germany.

-Since 01.06.2021 to Present paediatric outpatient practice, where children’s Growth and Development is followed and assessed, any Abnormalities detected and managed. Acute Infections are treated. Vaccines are applied. Routine Screening for developmental Dysplasia of the Hip via Ultrasound at the age of 4 week to 3Months.
