Experienced as a direct to plate and Mac operator working on the Creo

3244 platesetter and the Agfa Apogee direct to plate work flow wohick includes work-

ing with Props version 5 imposition softeare. I ako work with other applications

that are compatible with the use of the Grea and Agfa systems, such as Quark Xpress,

Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Hlustrator, Adobe Acrobat Pro & Adobe InDesign.

I use these applications in the pre-flighting and the preparations of the

customer supplied files, which includes checking the document sine, editing any color

that is not used in the file, font management, correct art placement, and the writing

of post script files that will be used later by the Preps software. I also wse these

applications ix a trouble shooting aspect, to correct the customer supplied art files

that will not pass through the Creo and Agfa Apoges systems. Once the files are prop-

erly processed, they are previewed using the Creo Vps and Agfa Apoger

Previrs software. Here files are checked the to ensure that quality is maintained

troughout the direct to plate workflow. I have a strong knowledge of the Macintask

O18, and I have some experience with the IRM format.

1 also have experience outputting files to image setters suck as the Agfa

Select Set, and the Linotronic image setters. 1 amt also invotoed in digital color

proofing, outputting customer requested color proofs to the 3M Rainbow, Imation

Iris, and Epson color proofers.

Experienced on the Scitec work flow systems, working with the Brisque file

server system. Skilled in working within the work flow, wtifining post rip appRca~

Hons suck as Scitre Full Auto Frame for trapping line work avd Scites CT files,

and alko Scitee Remake, ssed for color correction of ripped Hine work. Proficient

in outputting files to the Scitrs Dole 4Press image setter, usually using the Preps

software for page imposition to produce final films to be used by the strippers, or

outputting single page corrections, or random Scitex CT files. I also have experi-
