• Do Audits on surface explosives delivery bays to ensure that we comply with each shaft’s delivery schedules in conjunction with Chief Inspector of Explosives

• Compile reports e.g. Tamping reports, Production vs Tamping, Explosives audits.

• Issue Explosives from the surface magazines, record issued and received explosives also do daily checking on those magazines.

• Ensure the execution and alignment of legislation, policies and procedures regarding all aspects of explosives at operations.

• Explosives and Control systems, objectives and targets

• Explosives audit protocols and standards

• Proceedings regarding the outcome of case investigations

• Review of serious incidents and accidents in relation to explosives

• Conduct training and coaching for the miners and shift supervisors

• Ensure safe production by using POLC (Plan, Organize, Lead and Control) effectively.

• Coach employees in term of work-related issues
