FedEx Freight- Operations Supervisor
As a supervisor I’m responsible for maintaining records of drivers and fellow team members. This includes ensuring all drivers are DOT compliant and team members are being safe. Other responsibilities include setting schedules, communicate job assignments, analyze and address opportunities to cut costs and improve efficiency.
FedEx Freight-Central Line Control
Ensure all bid runs were appropriately covered with extra board drivers or VIA Drivers from other centers. During emergencies was responsible for dispatching mechanics or tow trucks to repair or replace broken equipment
FedEx Freight- Capacity Management
Secure transportation for shipments larger than LTL. Track shipments from pickup to delivery. Apply appropriate pricing for cargo. Acquire signed contracts from payor and outside carrier. Estimate prices for online inquiries.
