Role & Responsibility

Supervised all erection and commissioning of Plumbing and Sanitary works such as water supply system, roof water system, CP and sanitary, waste and storm lines, Inspection chambers and Manholes Pump room etc., Providing technical guidance to subordinates and sub contractors for ensuring quality of execution as per procedures, standards and technical specifications. Plan the manpower and the material requirement depending upon the work schedule and discuss with Manager – Clint delivery to avoid delay in work.

Effective coordinating with the various subcontractors involved in the project to make sure that there are no deviations or rework to be made.

Effective coordination with the Quality Engineer to ensure that the material received at the site confirms to the section and standards.

Monitoring the work status, variation in respect to the work order, Labor requirement etc., Maintain and update stock book regarding the inflow of materials received from Strategic sourcing and the issue of the materials to the various sub contractors at site. The stock book should be kept ready for auditing purposes.

Ensuring safety standards and proper housekeeping are followed at sites. Attending the site meetings/review meetings of the Customer/consultant, if required, and noting the points discussed for implementation.

Verifying the measurements on a weekly basis and the same complied in the prescribed measurement book for preparing the bill.
