Key Responsibilities:

Managed end-to-end operations of 660-MW Supercritical Units (Make-China) encompassing start- up, shutdown and emergency handling with a team of Field & Desk Engineers.

Coordination and communication with load dispatch center for operation of plant as per prevailing conditions and grid requirements.

Responsible for issuing Permit to work (PTW) for equipment with ensuring proper isolation & safety measures through Lockout Tagout Procedures.

To co-ordinate with maintenance team for isolation, work permits, trials, certification (Work Closure)

Involved in process safety management.

Independently identify problems, perform thorough root cause analysis and record findings.

Expertise in Desk Operation, Responsible for optimal start-up, shutdown and safe emergency handling of power plant.

Monitoring the critical parameters of the plant and find out the reason if there is any deviation from its normal value & try to resolve it.

Monitor and guide to optimize Heat rate, SOC, APC, DM make up.

Planned, organized and procured resources like fuel and water for smooth plant operations

Hands on experience of Switchyard 400KV Operation.

Highlights:

Successfully reduced the SHR & APC with specific initiatives.

Lead for startup time & oil consumption reduction.

Erection & Commissioning:

Having experience in Commissioning activities of G13E2 & its auxiliaries.

Successful completion of steam blowing activity, COD & other performance acceptance tests.

Coordinated with commissioning team as an operational support to complete the commissioning activities of 469 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant.
