JCvAS is an architecture that provides a Java-based Service Creation Environment (SCE) and Service Logic Execution Environment (SLEE), whose main goal is to enable rapid development, provisioning, and management of converged services. Also testing the refdb_command_tool which is used to manage service profiles, load reference data and manage reference database tables. This testing was Agile based with Test driven Development and Scrum-style management. Along with this Eclipse / Fitnesse was used to develop automated regression testcases. Using Rally to manage the scope of the work along with defects and testcases.

Software Quality Engineer - ASMS / Wireless Number Porting Worked with the SOA (Service Order Activation) side of the ASMS solution. Also part of the Manual Wireless Number Porting Team. This involves running scripts, analyzing data and reporting back the status. The other testing including writing/ executing and reporting on test cases as well as using SQL and TOAD.
Software Quality Engineer – NetCon Worked on the NetCon application. Network Configuration Manager is a product designed to provide a high value mechanized support tool for management of a company’s backbone transport, and access network. Responsible for testing the GUI and Security of the system. Also responsible for administering the test case tracking tool and attending both feature and requirement reviews. Worked to help achieve a SEI-CMM level 5 rating for the company as part of the test team.
Software Quality Engineer – CNAS, DBASII/AFM, INPAC & ISP Worked on the Carrier Pre-Select system (CSP) for eircom. This is a Client/Server WEB based system application. Mainly responsible for testing the GUI part with some FTP processing. Also tested the INPAC system which is also a Client/Server WEB based system with the WEB serve on one box and the database server on another box. Both these applications use Oracle for their Database. Tested the ISP release doing the MOC
and Call Processing work also. Part of my job also required that I test installations and documentation.
Software Quality Engineer - Wireless Quality Assurance Worked on ASMS/LNP tracking Y2K testing. Test responsibilities also include working with simulators to test out the ReSync part of the ASMS/LNP software. Other duties include being contact for quarterly metrics for ISP, using SQL, writing parts of the STTS as needed and attending various status meetings.
Lead System Tester for the AirBoss product. AirBoss involved a client/server environment and also used wireless technology to connect to the network. It is a Mobile Communications system combining Email, Paging and Web browsing in a wireless environment. Tested Environment failover within the system.
Software Quality Engineer - Working in the Change Management area. Responsible for Software release management under the MVS/XA environment. Both building out software as well as keeping track of the space used(DASD), interfacing with developers and users, maintaining the compiled code libraries, compiling release packages and shipping out software via tape and Ttran.
