2019 to present MAGNUM INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGIES INC. Company profile: A multidivisional, multinational corporation with over 100 years of combined product and technology experience. Magnum provides quality engineered designs, as well as pre-engineered packaged solutions for many specific applications. Title: Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer
Responsible for: Concept and design of a Clipping Machine Producing packs of 10 cartridges 25 per minute ready to be easily loaded on the field. The unit has 4 designated feeders, two of which are loading the clips and the other two loading the cartridges.
A Camco Index brings the tooling in position, where counting station is presenting the cartridges on the clip. Proximity switches and beam lights counting the cartridges also detect any malfunction of the station. Concept and design of a Varnishing Machine- the scope of the unit is to apply a film of varnish inside the mouth of the cartridge in order to assure a tight fit when the bullet will be inserted. There are two feeders delivering the cartridge oriented mouth up, check position and reject cartridges loaded upside down. Prior to the check of the cartridge, an EFD system is spraying the varnish on the inside wall then parts are dropped on a conveyor where operators will have a direct inspection. NICK V. STAICU Page2

A gravitational feed conveyor with dedicated pallets for individual pumps brings the pump kit to the assembly area. Bar code reading will ensure the model and size of the pump. Operator will assemble the pump on the Transfer Pallet that also has adjustments to suit different pump sizes. Operator loads the dedicated Spools on the pump and activates Bosh Rexroth Transfer Line to bring the Transfer Pallet in working test Position. System will start automatically water being brought in through the suction discharge arrangement. The test takes 20 to 25 min. all parameters being collected in the main PC then printed and ready to be included in the final box packaging. Process repeats the system having two Test Stations for improved production.
