Account Executive

Sales to physicians, hospitals, LTACHS, nursing homes and clinics in the Jackson, Vicksburg and Natchez markets.

Focusing on limb salvage on patients with non-healing wounds utilizing advanced wound treatment modalities. This includes the utilization of hospital ancillary services and teaching the benefits of our services to their patients regarding limb salvage and wound healing success.

Account executive responsibilities include securing partnerships with hospitals, nursing homes and home health agencies.

With a home base in Jackson MS, responsibilities included development of new clinics in both the Vicksburg and Natchez area starting from the ground up with an increase in revenue of 73,000 dollars in Vicksburg and 63,000 dollars in Natchez. This was done by developing relationships with physicians, Nurse Practitioners, hospital, LTACHS and nursing homes. Specialty services developed in my territories include a home to heal program and in-house rounding at nursing homes.

LHC Group-Mississippi Home Care (LHCG) – Madison, MS September 2007 - 2013

Senior Patient Care Representative

As a Patient Care Representative, was involved in the largest flagship joint venture within LHC group and was responsible for care coordination with the largest Orthopedic Clinic in the state.

Worked with senior management at LHC group in meeting with C- Suite players in the largest central MS healthcare organization, this resulted in initiatives that reduced hospital length of stay, reduced re-admissions, and influenced positive patient outcomes. These meetings included being part of core initiatives in Case Management, the Emergency Department and disease management programs.

Worked with a team of patient care representatives to ensure initiatives were presented to physician groups, ancillary staff and post-acute facilities, thus increasing our Medicare census in the 8 Mississippi branches to over 2,500 patients. These efforts also resulted in a top line revenue growth for MHC from 18 million to 25 million from 2008-2010.

Responsibilities also involved meeting with physicians and administration to develop strategies to service their patients as well as grow our home care referrals.

Became the premiere home care of choice for a group with over 14 surgeons resulting in over 250 referrals yearly for post-operative patients.
