SMART HELMET

Description:

This Proposal aims at the safety of bike riders against road accidents. It consists of a RF Receiver system. The Bike will not ignite without wearing a helmet by the user.

Components:

1.A RDUINO UNO Atmega328 micro controller board.

2.Limit Switch (SPDT)

3.We place the RF Receiver in the bike and RF transmitter in the Helmet.

4.The RF transmitter integrates with SPDT to switch on the circuit and to send the signals to receiver.

5.The RF transmitter receives the signal and close the circuit then only the ignition will start, if suppose we remove the helmet in middle of riding it will stop automatically.

6.RF Signals not blocked by common material and not sensitive to light.

7.We can improve the project by integrating with alcohol detection, GSM technology etc.

Mini Project:

DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF STEERING MECHANISMS

The Main Aim of steering is to ensure that the wheels are aligning in the desired direction. It allows the driver to guide the vehicle in specified path.

In this project we arrange the Davis Ackerman steering mechanisms models (made up from wood) on a flat board with the help of a protractor. Thus, we can calculate caster angle.

Davis Ackerman steering mechanisms consists of turning pairs and Davis mechanism consists of sliding.
