Resume:

Name: Francesca Dare Address: * Cam Court Thornhill Cwmbran. Postcode: NP44 5UW Contacts Number: 073**-****** Contact Email: *********@*****.***

Hello to my future employer... hopefully. My name is Francesca, but I go by Fran. I am 16 years old, and I am currently a A level student under Coleg Gwent, at Torfaen learning zone. Being a student has always taught me to be hard working and resilient, especially while completing my GCSE’s during the covid pandemic. Trying to teach myself a new way of learning was testing; however, it has given me adaptive and patient skills. Not to mention giving me the work ethic I now obtain that has driven me to want to join the working world, even if for now it is part time. I enjoy and thrive when working with people, Infact I am studying sociology right now as I have always been interested in society. To describe myself I would like to say I am dependable, energetic to learn new skills, and always try to remain motivated.

During my time in Secondary school, while being in the top set, we had skills challenges to complete. In a Competition working with a group of people we had to create a jacket design for the BGT team for the Olympics. My role in the team was to research the best suited materials, and how to make our jacket financially beneficial. Our team, after presenting our designs to the class, got voted to win and our jacket was able to be produced; I still have my own version to this day.

When I was 13, I got presented with another opportunity to work as a team to raise money for Charity. In school we had to create a presentation with a piece of media to raise awareness of a major social issue in the UK. I chose homelessness as this issue is increasing year by year. To get through the first round we presented our chosen issue and what it meant to us in front of our entire year group and a panel of judges from the school board. We successfully got through to the next round, where me and my two friends presented in the congress theatre Infront of the mayor of cwmbran and a representative from our chosen charity. Due to our extensive work of putting together a representation of the hardships homeless people must face, our group was chosen to win £1000.00 for our chosen homeless Charity.
