8. WORK EXPERIENCE

A. Currently, GMK Architectural ltd Resident Engineer March 2021-Present. A Rwanda firm that specialized in design and consultation of a big Project such as a multistory building. The following are my duties and responsibilities; 1. Supervise construction on multistory projects and provide quality assurance that completed work is in compliance with the plans and specifications. 2. Maintain accurate records and reports related to the project. 3. Oversee field site activities and provide technical advice on construction and design. 4. Regularly review and approve contract submittals and payment applications to contractors. 5. Act as point of contact and coordinate directly with general contractor and negotiate change orders.

6. Monitor progress against accepted construction schedule and review the Contractor’s progress reports.

B. ILJIN ENGINEERING &CONSTRUCTION Structural Engineer Oct2019-July2020. A Korean company that specializes in the construction of multistory building (ex: Headquarter of University of Rwanda, School of Mining and Geology building at former KIST) my duties were to:

1. selecting appropriate construction materials.

2. providing technical advice.

3. inspecting properties to check conditions.

4. Design and prepare plans for using Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) software. 5. Add structural details to architectural plans from their knowledge of building techniques. 6. Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products. C. STECOL CORPORATION LTD, Quality control technician April2019-October2021. A Chinese company specializing in the asphalt pavement construction for the Nyagatare-Rukomo asphalt road project (73.3Km). I was responsible for the testing of soil, concrete, asphalt and other materials as well as on-site testing. And finished products to ensure that the quality level is reached.

D. TABS CORPORATION LTD, General Foreman September 2017-February2019. Construction Company that worked civil works and supplying different construction materials. where I learnt Democratic leadership, judgement and decision making in an existing situation. Some of my responsibilities were:
