The project comprises the construction of tactical area and Non tactical area. In tactical area we have missile launcher pad 507 and Communication buildings 311, ICC 503 and Non-tactical area main entrance 101, Guard house 109, Large administration (HQ) 402, Main building 406, Officers accommodation 305, Multipurpose building 302, Fire station 306, Clinic 307, Officers club 309, Administration building medium (HQ) 40, Enlisted Accommodation 301, Dining Facility medium 304, Substations 212, Fuel dispensing shade 210, Mosque, Pavilion building, Football ground. External works like Road works, External utilities (Foul sewer, portable water line, fire water line, storm water system, telecommunication lines, electrical LV cables, MV cables),Perimeters fencing of the project.

Duties & responsibilities:

External works

• Worked directly under the Construction Manager and Project Engineer as junior civil Engineer for the completion and handing over as per project specification and QCS the External works, which includes is Road works, Drainage system, Rain water system, All types of manholes structure and construction works. I explain the work to be done as per the project specifications, to the Foreman & the respective supervisors. Check the work completed as per the scope of work, & raises the inspection process for the Consultant to check the ongoing work as well as the completed work. If something in the respective drawing is not applicable practically, they I ask the technical department to amend the drawing. Check the production rate as per the allotted time for the project & specific scope of work. Attend the meeting to discuss the critical issues related to the project & progress in the work. And daily follow ups on the works executed at site and rising consultant inspection as per project inspection and test plan. Structural and finishing work (information and coordination building, RS emplacement building mosque and pavilion building)

• Supervision of civil and structural works such as rebar works, formworks, concreting works, and etc.

• Do all necessary inspection request for each activity done on site prior to proceed with succeeding work.

• Estimate and request materials to be need on site. NAME 2

• Coordinate with all the engineer on site for each concrete requirement daily and order with the supplier on the daily basis.

• Conduct inspection with the QC engineer and Consultant for every activity done on site.

• Do the bar bending schedule prior to cutting and bending of rebar’s.

Karot Hydro-Power Project (720MWAATT): KHPP is located on Jhelum River, 65 Km away from Islamabad Pakistan.

Karot Hydro-Power Project is consist of three diversion Tunnel length 500m,headrace tunnel length 350m, and spillway, power house.

Structures: Diversion tunnel, headrace tunnel, access tunnel spillway, Duties & responsibilities:

Supervision of the Sprayed Dry and Wet Shotcrete at Inlet and Outlet Portal Slopes.

Supervision and making Site arrangement for concrete (C-40 C-50, C-60 etc.) pouring as per the approved drawings and project specifications.

Extraction of Shotcrete and Concrete Cores as per the instruction of Consultants.

Supervision of Slope stabilization (Wire Mesh, Rock Bolts, Weep Holes & Shotcrete) and installation of Slope instrumentation & monitoring sections as per approved drawings and project specification.

Monitoring the progress of various works/activities (Tunnels, Inlet and Outlet Slopes & Power House) at site, to ensure the progress to be in line with planned construction schedule and submitting the daily/weekly and monthly reports to the Management.

Attending daily, weekly and monthly construction progress coordination and safety meetings with Client and the Contractors and recording the Lessons Learnt/Actions to be taken.

Monitoring the quality of materials being delivered to site (for incorporating in to the permanent works) w.r.t their brand/make, Mill/Test certificates, QA/QC documents to ensure compliance with Contract specifications/standards.

Supervision of Rock Bolt Installation, Shotcrete, Fore-polling/Spilling waterproofing activities, Secondary/ Permanent Concrete Lining and launching Shafts support installation as per approved RESS, drawing and Project Specification.

Preparing the Planned Request for Inspection (RFI), on Site Material Sampling/Testing in the light of approved Shop Drawing, MS and ITP.

Reviewing and supervising Sub-Contractor’s daily and weekly inspection reports.

Recordkeeping of all the assigned sites.
