• Rehabilitation of 12kV switchgear of Grid Substation “F” – Project Engineer Existing air insulated MOCB switchgear was replaced by gas insulated VCB switchgear with modifications and added capacity
• Construction of new Primary Substation “J” – Project Engineer New 33/11kV Primary Substation with 02 nos. of 16MVA transformers was installed, tested and commissioned in Dematagoda, Colombo 10.
• Rehabilitation of Primary Substation “D” – Project Engineer Existing 33/11kV air insulated Primary substation was replaced by gas insulated switchgear with modifications and added capacity
• Installation, Testing & Commissioning of 132kV Cable A T-off circuit was connected to Grid Substation “F”, Fort from existing 132kV cable network between Grid substation “C”, Bloomandhal & Kolonnawa in order to improve the reliability of Electricity network of Colombo city

o World Engineering Day
The 40th General Conference of UNESCO has adopted the resolution to proclaim 4th March of every year a World Engineering Day in November 2019. In parallel with the international event, IESL also celebrated the 1st World Engineering Day in Sri Lanka. I was appointed to organize an event for this by the IESL council. Accordingly, a conference was organized in par with the international theme Sustainable Development. The local theme was “Sustainable Development Goals, Sri Lanka, Past Present Future”, under which the SDGs relevant to power & energy, health and defense sectors were presented and discussed. o IESL Student Chapter Project

Over 200 cataract surgeries were done at Lions’ Eye Hospital, Kadawatha. o Serve the community through active involvement 2014 Elbow clutches were distributed among 30 needy people in Wattegama, Kandy area. Clutches were purchased from Rehab Lanka Foundation to motivate differently abled people working in the said foundation.
