Summary
Ph.D. Thesis based on antibacterial potential of marine algae (seaweeds).
Experience as a Principal Investigator (PI) of a microbiology oriented project sponsored by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India.
Author of 8 international publications in international peer reviewed journals including 5 as first author as well as corresponding author.
Interdisciplinary collaborator with an experience of working in reputed national laboratory like CSIR-CSMCRI.
Experience of almost 7 years on antibacterial and antioxidant potential of seaweeds and 6 years in seaweed bioactives study using metabolomics.
Experience in microbial culture handling and microbiological testing.
Pioneer in submitting the DNA sequences of 4 marine seaweed species from the Kachchh coast to NCBI Database with GenBank accession numbers [(MT452260), (MT452261), (MT484071) and (MT452262)].
Conversant with various sophisticated laboratory techniques such as LCMS, GCMS, HPLC, FTIR, SEM, TEM, XRD, ICP, Stereomicroscopy, PCR, Fluorescence Microscopy, and Atomic Force Microscopy.
