ABOUT ME
I am currently a part time student enrolled at NOC pursuing business and accounting. I have three children. I have been a phlebotomist at Regional Medical Lab for about two years and I love it. I am looking for something with a flexible schedule, however I do take being on time seriously and I am very accountable with reliable transportation and sitter. I am passionate about taking care of those around me and genuinely compassionate. I love helping others better themselves.
EDUCATION
I graduated Ponca city senior high in 2016, I maintained a 3.8 GPA. I then attended Pioneer technology and completed CNA, MAT, FIRST AID, PHLEBOTOMY, and CPR training. I also took A&P and medical terminology and applied for the LPN program and was accepted, although I did not start that training due to having to go to work as a CNA to support my small children. A couple years after working as a CNA and using my phlebotomy certification I decided to go back to college at NOC and start classes there. I have almost completed my associates degree and plan to continue with at least a bachelors.
WORK HISTORY
I started off working at Shawn manor nursing home in Ponca city when I got my CNA license. I worked there for about three months full time when I decided to apply at Via Christi where I worked on assisted living utilizing my MAT certification and also just expressing myself and doing what I love, working with people in the memory care unit. I worked for Via Christi for about a year all together and toward the end of that I moved to long term care because I was placed on a constant first shift availability because I was recently divorced and had to have hours my children could be at daycare. Via Christi is owned by the same company Regional Medical Lab is owned by, Ascension. I have been working at RML for two years where I not only draw labs, but also enter data, assist with thyroid biopsy, and bone marrow biopsy, assisting a pathologist. I have learned a lot about the body through this company.
