Position: Storm Drainage Engineer (Project Engineer) Projects and Responsibilities:

Working on Design of Infrastructure for Ministry of Housing Projects Studies, Design & Supervision of Housing Projects in Eastern Region. The project involve the detailed design of storm drainage network of different sites with Hafar Al batin, Al Khafji, Dahiyah Al Hagar, Buqyaq, Nauriyah, Hai Al Nakheel, Wasy and Al Sikak.

I was responsible for site assessment as per surface drainage system, coordination with stakeholders and preparation for tender documents and design supervision of the project.

Working on King Abdullah Economic City KAEC Industrial Valley and Road Connectivity Jeddah.

The project involve the study of Master plan, reviewing the master plan, and detailed design of storm drainage system.

I was responsible for reviewing other consultant storm drainage design which includes earthen swales and pipe network. Preparation of design reports and provide a workable solution with the consideration of climate change and cost.

Working on Strategic Study and Design of Storm Drainage System in Al Ahsa City. The project involve the evaluation of existing system and master planning for the proposed storm drainage system for the whole city. I was responsible for providing a suitable solution of flooded area within the existing system, coordination with stakeholders and preparation of tender documents.

Working on FAL Industrial City Co. Ltd.

The project involve the design of storm drainage network to avoid flooding within the industrial city and main storm water carrying channel from FAL city to wadi al sulai. The project comprises of pipe network, vegetated swales, box culverts and channels.

Working on King Abdullah Medical City – Bahrain. The project involve the site assessment and proposed a drainage system to protect the site from external and internal catchment flow.

I was responsible for the detailed design of proposed channels, box culverts, pipe network, and lift station. The job includes design criteria, tender documents and provide a reliable solution on contractors query.

Working as a Junior Design Engineer on Shams Ar-Riyadh Development Project, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The project involves the grading of the whole project area which is 5 kilometer, diversion and extension of existing box culverts towards wadi. I was responsible for assisting senior engineers in reviewing the storm drainage design, and preparation of various documents like design calculations, hydraulic profile and tender document.

Working as a Junior Design Engineer on Development of Water front Area in North Corniche and Faisal Bin Fahd Street, Jeddah Project, assisting senior engineers in coordination services between main urban & landscape consultants & associates and for the whole project for different disciplines like, Potable & Fire Water Distribution System, Storm Drainage System, Sanitary System, Roads, Irrigation, Landscaping, Electrical Power, Street Lighting, Telecommunication and Structures. Coordinating all the disciplines/utilities for developing composite utilities drawings to remove any conflict between different utilities. Also coordinated with Sub consultants for Landscaping, Traffic Studies & Marine Studies and Sub-contractors for Topographic survey, Geotechnical Investigations and Bathymetric Survey of the site.
