2018-Present Palm Beach County Foodbank

Warehouse Supervisor that leads by example and ensures that the people in Palm Beach County that are in need of food, get it in a timely manner while safety is a top priority. Supervise Receiving and Outbound employees as well as temps and help with other Departments as needed. I train new employees and work closely with the Volunteer Coordinator as well as the Programs team and Agencies that pick up food from us to distribute. It’s fast paced and I also have to have a communication line with my Managers and report how we are doing and the challenges we face daily. I love working here but would like a job closer to home. Also going through a Change in upper management. I have a good rapport with the outgoing CEO and am sad she is leaving. I am looking for similar pay but closer to home as I stated.

2008 - 2017 Walgreens Distribution Center

Up until November I was a Group Supervisor for the Walgreens Distribution Center Located in Jupiter, Florida. I was a part of a team of 40+ Team Members in the Full Case Pick Department. I was responsible for keeping cohesion while meeting and exceeding Company Goals and Department Productivity Requirements. While I enjoyed my 9 years at Walgreens my home life has changed over that time and am now looking for a better Work/Life balance to be able to spend the remaining time I have left with my kids who are nearing the end of their Middle\High school ages. 2003 – 2008 FedEx Ground Package Delivery

As Service Manager at FedEx, I supervised 10 hourly employees directly and 40 employees indirectly on the overnight preload shift. I started as a package delivery driver for an independent FedEx ground contractor. After a year I was offered the in-house position of dock service manager. In this position I directly supervised 10 employees, and up to 40 employees in the third shift pre-load department. My team regularly was in the upper third in performance measures. I was able to achieve these results by training and supporting my team. I also improved employee retention by fostering a positive attitude and demonstrating to the employees that we were a team, and I was there to help them succeed. While always receiving good reviews, my position was eliminated as part of a multi-site consolidation by FedEx, which led to my current Walgreens position.

1998 – 2003 Worldwide

Valet

Valet for North Palm Beach, Florida valet service company, which provided parking valets to local hospitals, shopping malls and restaurants. This position was a temporary fill-in after graduating from college and deciding not to pursue a teaching career. I advanced to site supervisor responsible for scheduling and supervising up to 6 people, preparing payroll information and allocating tip income.
