I led my patrol on many events after that where my main goal as the leader was to have a balance of fun and training my patrol. In 2014 I lead my patrol at the regional Night Hike competition, my patrol was the youngest and most inexperienced at the event but despite this our goal was to finish in the top three in the region. We managed to exceed all expectations by completing every checkpoint activity and going on to win the competition. In December of 2014 I led another patrol on the Senior Scout Adventure, which is a 100km hike through the Cederberg mountain range and despite many challenges and struggling members, every patrol member completed the entire hike.

In 2018 I became a Rover at Orion Rover crew. As a Rover one of our main aim’s is service to our community. During the Covid 19 lockdown we made grocery deliveries to people who could not take the risk of leaving their houses.
