PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Jet Airways (India) Ltd

Worked as a Sr. Assistant in Cargo Department - Jet airways, Trivandrum International airport since 2008. In 2014 promoted as Dangerous goods Officer. Fully conserving with export and import, domestic and international cargo. Also dealing with customs bonded international cargo of most of the multilateral interline agreement airlines. I have the good knowledge of load and trim control and Dangerous goods. Conducted market surveys and preparing various reports and reporting to regional manager-cargo. Experience in handling DG, AVI, GC, HUM, PER, PEF, PES.

Do Consider the following

Preparing daily weekly, monthly reports. Weekly sales report to Sr. General Manager India, cargo and daily report to regional manager, South India. DG reports to Headquarters and DGCA

Operational Accountabilities

Monitor the communication between Head office and all Reservations/sales staff throughout the network for safe movement of Dangerous goods.

Given support and clarification to other department and external agencies for uplifting DG cargo on the basics of MSDS and latest IATA DGR manual.

Conducting regular updates with other department, which received from DGCA and 9w headquarters regarding Lithium battery accident, incident and initiative to drive change in the industry.

Promote Dangerous goods accident and incident free working group atmosphere in job times.

Making all arrangements for DG Audit and self audit done for monthly basics

Monitor all corrective actions taken to close all audit findings in DG audit, and same update with GHA/GSA

Setting Station library with latest manual and circulars - We are kept latest DG Display board to Cargo booking counter and sales office.

Making DG team and we are responsible for being updated about the latest technological trends to keep the Dangerous Goods acceptance / handling procedures updated and to be as per with the International standards. 3

As a team leader myself and our team highlight the discrepancy patterns to recommend changes to the management to take immediate corrective actions to our company own department and other external agencies working with us.

Regular audit done about the validity of DG License and other training of our DC teams.

Myself and our team are taken responsible to approve the requests from the network stations, for the carriage of DG on 9W flights.

Regular coordination with higher authority for updating latest information and briefing the team.

Monitor all corrective actions taken and the implementation of recommendations / mitigating actions to close all investigations/risk assessments and lithium related audit findings (internal or external) to ensure safety gaps are identified and closed.

Conducting Dangerous Goods Audit in station levels and assisting DGCA for station audit

Monitoring and managing key areas such as sales, operations, customer service, maintaining a working relation with internal customers like customs, airport authority, local custodian and ground handlers.

Actively involved in the regular training of new staff and developing them as successful team members.

Monitoring and managing Undeclared Dangerous goods come in cargo warehouse.

Also working as DG clearance staff for entire department of Jet airways Trivandrum

Load planning resulting to maximum yields per aircraft.

Planning of shipment evolving effective distribution yielding to lean sectors going to capacity and not compromising on service levels.

Planning of export cargo on flights reducing operational cost and increasing operational profitability and efficiency.

Qualifications as per company requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree – Bachelor of Commerce.

2. Experience – Six Years of experience as DG Officer in Jet airways India Ltd. 3. Emergency response planning – worked as a team leader in Emergency response team

4. Six years experience in Experience with Dangerous Goods acceptance and handling in Jet airways.

5. Thorough knowledge in Dangerous Goods Regulations and Policies, which help me and our team to make excellent decision – making skills with confident.

6. Following what data in Safety data sheets MSDS which we would follow, and update regular interval through email, or phone with corresponding manufactures.
