Roles & Responsibilities

• For the newly awarded project, all the Contract documents such as General conditions, BOQ, Specifications, Method of measurement, Drawings should be thoroughly studied.

• To study the General Conditions of contract like FIDIC in order to get the thorough knowledge.

• To provide the Performance bond, Advance payment bond, Project insurance & Workmen Compensation based on the Project requirement.

• Quantity takeoff based on Contract drawings, Shop drawings & As-built drawings.

• Based on material schedule, specifications and approved shop drawing quantity, the necessary details to be provided to the QA/QC for the approval of materials and the same Should be given to the Procurement team to get the quotations.

• Preparing and getting approval of the monthly Interim payment applications/valuations against Value of Work done for measured works, Variations, Material On-Site with the terms of the Contract conditions.

• Preparing and compiling variation claim document with all relevant substantiation to get the approval from the Engineer/Employer.

• Follow up with the clients until receiving the approved payments.

• Maintain logs for Variation orders, Monthly payment schedules.

• Cost Control Report (OPSTAT) should be prepared and reported on every monthly meeting.

• Preparing & Submission of Contractual letter related to Project Commercial.

• Cost Variation and Projected Cost at completion should be monitored and reporting to the management.

• Review and approve Subcontract payment application based on actual progress of S/C work.

• Preparation of reconciliation statement for the materials to control the wastage.

• Labor & Equipment productivity should be prepared based on daily report from site.

• Prepare & submitting the “Statement at completion” upon TOC & “Final Payment application” upon DLC with relevant substantiation and documents as per Contract Obligations.

• Analyze and prepare the documents for the Insurance claims for the Contractors All Risks Insurance policy.
