• Perform engineering work using intensive knowledge and experience in

evaluating, selecting, modifying, and applying standard techniques, procedures,

and criteria for projects of varying size and the highest complexity.

• Provides engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis

and resolution of routine problems in area of expertise. Assists in the

accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning,

organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of work activities under the

guidance of higher-level employees.

Activities

Activities shall include, but not be limited to, the following.

• Equipment specification, proposal evaluation and requisitioning

• Engineering calculations to assure safety and performance of equipment and

systems

• Selection and application of appropriate Engineering matters, equipment and

systems

• Interdisciplinary interface for constructability and conformance to project

requirements

• Preliminary design, budgetary estimating, and scheduling

• Direct changes to the work when requested by the Project Engineer

direction of the Project Engineer

• Aid in receiving, inspection, and approval of equipment and materials

• Act as Project Engineer, when required, on projects of moderate to large size and

complexity

• Perform complex studies and economic analyses of engineering alternatives

• Prepare reports and feasibility studies for submission to Management

MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF 132KV TRANSMISSION LINE

• There are 3nos of 132kv Transmission Line are

• PATROLLING OF 132 KV TRANSMISSION LINE FOR PREVENTIVE

MAINTENANACE

Follow the schedule of patrolling for the preventive maintenance before happening

of any major breakdown.

Due to heavy wind storm and twister effects the braces of tower become loose and

may be fallen some times. By the patrolling the Defects areas will be attend

immediately.

The following areas needs preventive measures of 132kv transmission lines.

• Loosen of Braces Earthling wire Lightning Surges

• Lightning Arresters: General

• Environmental Effects.

• Patrolling the 132KV Transmission Line as per scheduled program,

• Maintenance of Transmission Tower by taking Shutdown (PTW).

• Replacing the puncture and broken discs.

• Tighten the loose tower braces

• Tree trimming.

• Performed Maintenance and operation of 132 KV substations equipment like

circuit breakers, Isolators, Power Transformers, Batteries and Power cables.

• Performed control operations of 220/132 KV substations equipment like Circuit

breakers, Isolators, Earth Switches as per requirements of N.P.C.C. and SCADA.

• Arrange the Shutdowns to the work on Transmission Lines, Circuit breakers and

Power Transforms etc. To issue P.T.W on Transmission Lines, Power Transformers,

Circuit Breakers and Switchgear equipments for maintenance work.

To safe the Line parts and connects Temporary and permanent Earth switches

ensure with the equipments is safe to work.
