Current status:- After superannuation in 2016 from Government Service in IOFS cadre as Member and Addl, Director General of Ordnance Factory Board, worked for an year as Professor at Gayatri Vidya Parishad College of Engineering (Autonomous), Visakhapatnam in Electronics and Communication Department. I am open to any full time engagements including those like work from home.

(Currently appointed by Central Vigilance Commission as Independent External Monitor (IEM) for M/s Railtel and M/s Odisha Gramya Bank to attend meetings in the status of an Independent Director for the firm/bank and the work load is only around 4 meetings in a year.) The system developed by me consisted of 14 modules. About a million lines of code was written by me dung 1989 to 1995. The intermediate 4GL codes are developed for smooth implementation. Standards are followed for naming the variables and the entire software is easy to maintain. Even today, at the Gun Carriage Factory Jabalpur where I had first implemented the package, the backbone is perfect with all integrity and consistency.

Similarly I had implemented developed as many as 12 modules in Informix 4GL for HRM at Ordnance Factory Medak (Near Hyderabad) and that package is taken as MODEL for implementation across all the 40 Ordnance Factories.

I did software configuration management and Informix-Turbo implementation during that time in 1988-89 and achieved highest throughput and performance by using database on RAWDEVICE and not on UNIX file system.

Disaster management is also planned and implemented.

During those days there were certain known problems with the Informix version 2, where page fault used to occur under certain data size conditions. I had devised a forecasting method and PLANNED the system shutdown to re-format and restart the RDBMS without any data loss. I wrote a unix shell script for daily integrity checks – while shutting down the system.
