+ Efficient Clustering and Transmission Protocol Using Biological Solution in Wireless Sensor Network (Advi- sor: S. Fazlullah Adibnia and Dr. S. Mojtaba Matinkhah) [Ongoing] Description: The main problem in designing wireless sensor networks is the limited energy source of the sensors. On the other hand, due to a large number of sensors in the network or the inability to access them, it is not possible to replace or charge the battery of the sensors. For this reason, methods for optimal energy consumption, which ultimately increase the life of the network, are strongly felt. Clustering is one of the methods used to effectively manage network energy consumption and this method has been able to improve network efficiency. However, the techniques used in the clustering method have been able to reduce energy consumption in wireless sensor networks to some extent. Increase the life of the network, but in presenting the previous techniques and algorithms, there were problems such as limited battery power, reduced network life, sending too many broadcast messages, lack of a suitable and optimal infrastructure for the network, and due to the disadvantages and The sensitivity of wireless sensor networks is felt by the need for an efficient clustering algorithm to reduce power consumption and increase network life. The proposed solution of this dissertation for clustering and selection of clusters is a biological solution based on the water cycle. The water cycle algorithm is a water cycle-based solution in our environment that researchers today use to solve optimization problems. Using this algorithm as a clustering solution for a heterogeneous wireless sensor network is new research that will be used in the proposed solution of this dissertation. SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENTS
