This was my first job this is where I began to realize that I cannot do blue collar work and that I needed to expand my mind instead. I have flat feet and this factory job forced you to be on your feet the whole time working 10-12 hours a day and sometimes mandatory 64 hours a week. The actual work was relatively simple it was just standing up the whole time and the same repetitive motion of putting pens in blister packs and working on the hand pack lines. .

This was a nice job lot easier than the factory work it was nice to learn how to cook various fast foods and interact with different people of all different backgrounds we all worked together and got the job done. Always wanted to work here as it was my favorite fast food for a long time. But after eating there for so long and so frequently got a little burnt out from them.

My grandfather had a bad episode with his emphysema in May 2015. So after briefly working at the factory again I decided it was best to stay at home and take care of my family as best as I could. Helped do more chores around the house and did whatever my grandfather and grandmother needed. Then in December 2015 he passed away. He never got to see me start college in February 2016 it was a rough time lost my uncle the year prior who I was very close too. He always wanted me to go and thought it would be best for me. So in a way I am earning my degree for him and his sake as well as mine.

In November 2016 my great aunt moved in with us for a little bit and we decided to live in Chattanooga for a year or so. Leaving my grandmother and brothers here to take care of her. Decided to give it a shot for part-time work while also getting my degree online. It worked out great for awhile my job was right across the street from where I lived but then the other crew members all left to pursue other interests and I was having to work too many hours so I decided to quit that job, and just focus on school and come back home to Chapel Hill. So now I live back home been here since August 2018.

Received art awards in high school and science awards, perfect attendance in some cases, Maintained a 3.0 GPA my last couple years high school but the first 2 were 3.67. Completed my high school diploma in may 2011. .
