**/*/** ** */10/2021. eBay Inc. Work from home, reporting to supervision in Salt Lake City, Utah and San Jose, Ca. My final position was in Member 2 Member Mediation and Appeals. I worked by phone and email trying to resolve problems between buyers and sellers. Among the responsibilities was to determine who suffered from the transactions, who was going to provide relief if any, and when. At times I was authorized through software templates to also have eBay pay an amount to the injured party that was satisfactory and close the claims.
09/05/2015 to 05/10/2017. Signet Corp. This is the parent company of Kay Jewelry, Jared’s, etc. They own and operate every major jewelry chain in the United States. I was a phone and email rep in the inhouse credit accounts department. I was there to help the guests solve problems with their accounts after purchase. That involved changing terms to their advantage, lowering interest rates, waiving late charges and other fees and even at times closing accounts. The idea being to get them back into the stores and feel good about it. Was rewarding.
07/1980 to 05/2001. Cuyahoga Valley Career Center. I was a HVAC instructor for adult and high school students combined in a 2 year program. I was the department head, developed and implemented department budgets, purchased equipment and monitor staffing and post education employment of graduates. Very rewarding position.I retired in 2001 and still keep in touch with a few of the graduates.
Prior to that I was self employed as an HVAC, sheet metal and Electrical contractor. Worked in in reduced roles the first 10 years I taught.
Education. HS Graduate, KSU for education and teaching classes, including some graduate classes in adolescent psychology.
