All 3rd party PM contractors and all non-outage contractor projects.
All Lube Tech and Operator PM”s and Inspections
Oversee Millwright Apprenticeship Program and Testing
Job Accomplishments
Implemented and Revised All Operator PM Inspections and assigned Lubrication Schedules to all Mill operators.
Created a video library for overall general training for millwrights and electricians.
Sawmill Downtime decreased 42% from June 2016 to June 2017 due to a team effort, morale boosting, collaboration with production supervision, engineering changes and updated and created PM programs.
Took Over Boiler Operations March 2017.
Attend Annual PM and Reliability Seminars Annually
Attend Annual Supervisory Training Courses (1-2 day)
Developed 26 S.O.P. Power Points on Maintenance related practices
Introduced downtime database for all departments and solely maintained its data entry and all reports
Created a excel based Database called “Postworx” that is meant to capture non-work order related
Activity that was not being recorded for the purpose of machine life expectancy, ownership of work practices and other “mill running’ information. It had an easy to use User Interface that would save data entry on another sheet. I also tied the Plant BOM into the database so finding part type and location time would be reduced.
Unfortunately, I was dismissed from employment with Potlatch due to added pressure to increase production after large merger with 3 other sawmills, the other mills were producing more with less personnel.
