My working knowledge of construction equipment, methods, procedures, and skills combined with my successful track record and great leadership abilities makes me a good candidate for this position.
I possess twenty-two years of dedicated experience working in the construction arena where my skills have been polished and re-polished over a multitude of times owing to the diverse construction projects that I have worked on. From these experiences, I gained expertise in:
• Supervising the crew of up to 100 workers
• Making daily and weekly construction work plans
• Ensuring all work complies with company’s Standard Operating Procedures
• Developing crew members through identification of cross-training opportunities
Optimization of work hours is another key to my role as a successful construction general foreman over the years. I have the knowledge of scheduling work duties and work hours in an efficient manner that ensures that work is done within the minimum time. Moreover, I am an expert in resolving issues among team members. For such skills to acquire, I bear the batho pele principle no.1 that is consultation whereby people are consulted about their needs, by so doing I am managing disputes and misunderstandings that may occur to the teams and address them in an appropriate manner.
