• From late June 2020 until October 2020 I built and taught my own curriculum for a Leadership Skills class for grades 4th through 9th at Diablo Valley College’s community education department’s College for Kids program. This allowed me to observe a wide variety of student experiences and to tailor my education strategies to serve their needs. Additionally, I was responsible for producing my own education materials and writing proposals for the unique budgetary needs of my classes.
• Substitute teacher for San Ramon Valley Unified School District, teaching K12 students, in person and remote, from August 2020 until present. In this position I have gained a great deal of experience in forging professional relationships with my fellow teachers and administrators. Additionally, I have had to develop the skills necessary to manage a vast and extremely diverse set of classes and classrooms over programs like Zoom and Google Classroom. Remote instruction has been an incredibly fast-paced learning curve that has rapidly developed my time- management and communication skills, all whilst honing the usual skill set for teaching in any capacity.
• Work experience with family-owned entertainment business for several years including cultivating customer relationships in a public-facing capacity, writing compelling copy utilizing SEO to increase traffic and engagement, and taking on an ever-changing list of roles as needed to accommodate the adapting needs of a small family-run business.
• Freelance script writer for WatchMojo. My responsibilities in this role include drafting and writing pop culture content, such as “top ten” lists. I have extensive experience writing under a looming deadline, and delivering content for a variety of topics.

• For the completion of my BA, I researched and wrote an original thesis over the course of a semester. This was a valuable experience which allowed me to apply my writing skills to a long term project that represented my passion. I received an honors designation in my major, on top of my general highest distinction in Letters and Science, for this thesis project.
• Due to an insatiable love of learning, I began my college career at the age of thirteen, testing out of high school at fourteen years old. I am proud of this accomplishment and believe that it has given me a particularly uncommon perspective with regards to learning and education.
• In Fall of 2018 I received the Cal Alumni Association Leadership Award Scholarship which helped fund my education and allowed me another avenue to develop my skills at essay writing.
