Solid Waste Management - Gulmarg - 2018

Description of Project:

I worked as a volunteer for 20 days towards achieving complete segregation of solid waste of Gulmarg Town, as part of collaborative program initiated by Grievance cell, Srinagar and IUST. Assisted in coordinating segregation and processing of biodegradable and non- biodegradable solid waste.

Work Experience Included:

Segregation at source of solid waste generated by hotels, shops, roadside.

Coordination of transportation of segregated waste.

Dumping of segregated solid waste into at designated area.

Conversion of biodegradable solid waste into compost and processing of inorganic solid waste into magnetic incinerator.

Professional training:

Participated in one day workshop on total station, DGPS and Allied Softwares, Sponsored by Sankon Technologies Pvt. Ltd. organized by Department of Civil Engineering IUST. - 2017

Participated in “one month vocational training programme” on basic computer applications under ALMA sponsored by 90 Battalion CRPF, Bijbehara. – 2011. Other activities:
