WORK EXPERIENCE:

1. I am well acquainted with technique of Electro Encephalo Gram (EEG)

in placing electrodes, Taking pateints history,Recording EEG, Identifying artifacts & EEG abnormalities, Trouble shooting in case of machine failure. During 25 years experience as Neurophysiology Technician, I exposed myself in various typed of recording techniques including Video EEG, recording EEG in ICU /NICU for Brain death cases.

2. I have basic knowledge of Basic Electro physiology, Fundamentals of

EEG, Nerve Conduction Studies, Evoked Potentials and Electro Myo Gram. I developed my knowledge in this field up-to some extent with referring various books and updated techniques till date.

3. During My work in Kasturba Medical College Hospital, I exposed

myself to Polysomnographic scoring Techniques used for the diagnosis

of Sleep Disorders. I have good knowledge of Polysomnographic

recording methods and monitoring devices like Ear Oximeter, Strain

Gauze, Microphone, Urometer, Nasal & Oral Airway, Recording

Diaphragmatic movements, ECG and Leg & Chin EMG

4. As Neurophysiology technician, Performing Evoked Potentials is my

responsibility and one of favorite subject. I am performing Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response (BAER), Visual Evoked Response (VER) and Somato Sensory Evoked Potential (SSEP).

In our lab we perform BAER for Neurological cases & ENT cases

(Hearing Evaluation in Infant & Children).

For VER we use Monochrome Visual stimulator and Led Goggles.

I am well equipped with good knowledge in performing SSEP study for

Upper & Lower extremities.

5. I am performing N C S independently for the Upper & Lower

extremities and Femoral nerves. Assisting Neurologist during EMG is

also my responsibility.

7. In addition to all the above procedures, I have knowledge of Electro Cardio Gram (ECG), Exercise Stress Test (EST) and Pulmonary Function Test (PFT).

As Senior Technician of the Neuro Lab; Giving Lectures and

Demonstrating the procedures and Training Staff Nurses is one of

responsibility.

Supervising the performance of the staffs in the laboratory and report

about them to their supervisors.

Prepared the Billing procedures of cash & credit clients in coordinating

with Billing Department.

Maintenance and safekeeping of equipments and hospital supplies in the

laboratory.

With all the machines, I am very careful in handling and I can perform

minor repairs. I have good rapport from Biomedical Dept. for good

maintaining of all the machines which I am handling.
