Project Title (Msc Phy) “Evaluation of Radiation Shielding properties of polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) reinforced with Lead Acetate.”

Description Poly vinyl alcohol is synthetic polymer, which has high durability and Lead acetate act as good shielding material, due to these special properties, we have made use of composition of PVA and Lead acetate & manufactured the films, by using the following composition we have calculated mass attenuation coefficient of these films of various thickness. From this we have concluded that lead acetate & PVA composition can act as shielding material against gamma radiation.
