At Meijer our duties consists primarily of managing the flow of daily inbound deliveries, scheduling appointments, interacting with drivers and auditors, and verifying order accuracy. Additional responsibilities are product selection and loading of trailers for store delivery within our distribution facility area.

Android Inc.(General Motors) Dallas, TX Full-Time Position Hilo Driver/ Assembly II Dec.2012 To August 2014

A Hilo driver is the same thing as a forklift driver. As a Hilo driver the responsibilities were to supply materials to the assembly lines. At Android we had the pleasure to assemble different part to a number of different trucks for General Motors. The building I was located at we had the responsibility of assembling the wheel and tires on and making sure the tire pressure was correct before we shipped the tires to the main plant (General Motors). The Hilo driver was not only responsible for supplying the line with material but also loading and unloading semi-truck with materials that was needed to do the job every day. This is a high speed environment were your speed counts a lot. For example we had to reach four hundred sets as a count every shift. Every set has four tires and a spare tire and each tire had to be assembled and tested for the right tire pressure. That made it high speed environment.

Triumph Interiors LLC. (Dallas, TX) Full-Time Position Material Coordinator Feb. 2012 to Nov. 2012

As a Material Coordinator the job duties were to be in control of all materials that came in and out of the facility. I was the only Material Coordinator for the whole company. We (as the company) had the pleasure of taking the old seats from Southwest Airline’s planes and undressing them completely and redressing them. We would clean them before redressing them. The Material Coordinator had the responsibility ordering everything that was needed for each and every seat. Not only materials that went on the seats but also the tools and equipment that was needed to perform daily tasks. As a Material Coordinator the know how to use a computer and a system called Syteline is very important in everyday use. Syteline in a system that was designed to keep inventory for everything that was in the warehouse. It helped keep accurate count on materials and equipment in the warehouse and would alert you when it had reached the safety stock level for which that was the time to reorder materials.
