MINI PROJECT DETAILS

Project Title : Design of Shear Wall for a Multistorey building.

Project Description : The main objective of our project is to resist lateral forces that are produced in the plane of the wall due to wind, earthquake and other forces.

Shear wall has been found to be of immense use to avoid total collapse of building under seismic force.

PROJECT DETAILS

Project Title : A study on the strength characteristics of concrete with coarse aggregate partially replaced with periwinkle shell.

Project Description : The main objective of our project is to replace conventional coarse aggregate.

With periwinkle shell collected from coastal capital.

An attempt is made to test the workability and strength of partially replaced concrete in the laboratory through the compaction factor,slump cone and flow test in fresh state and the 7 day and 28 day compression test, flexure test and spilt tension tests in the hardened state.

The project is mainly reduced the cost, improving the performance and non-polluting
