Post Tender Responsibilities:

Material finalization (Job in hand enquiries, preparing technical and commercial comparisons).

Prepare take offs from drawings and compare with the site measurements.

Preparation of interim Valuations (Invoices) and final account.

Preparation of project variations.

Maintain a schedule of submissions and responses, for approvals, inspections, variations, etc.

Reconciliation of materials and works executed during the month.

Preparation of Monthly commercial reports in conjunction with the PM and site team.

Verifying and checking payment and variation claims for MEP jobs before submission to Main contractor.

Assessing internal variation of subcontractors.

Pre-Tender Responsibilities:

Review of MEP tender documents, detailed study of project specifications and raising technical queries for Electrical services.

Floating enquiries to suppliers, obtaining quotations, technical and commercial review of the same.

Preparing material take-off from drawings and ensure the accuracy.

Preparing initial estimation.

Preparation and filling of BOQ with probable cost based on the proposed contract documents.

Comparing the BOQ cost with previous BOQ’s similar in nature to ensure the accuracy.
