Working as a Phlebotomist is an important part of who I am. I enjoyed working with the patients and letting them know they are in good hands, since so many people are petrified of needles. Wilson Medical Center is where I learned the importance of professionalism and bed side manners, and what each blood and urine sample meant that was being performed. I worked third shift for 3 years, which taught me a lot about blood draws, especially since I was the only Phlebotomist during that shift.

Land of Learning Child Care gave me the experience to learn the ends and outs of office work, classroom teachings, and experience that has given me the knowledge of putting others first for their unique needs.

While working at Dollar General I had the responsibilities of counting the drawers, attending to customers needs, and stocking the shelves. I gained the knowledge that the customer’s needs always comes first.
