Mr. M Simtowe is a highly motivated and dedicated person with extensive knowledge and experience in construction, and maintenance of high voltage overheard transmission lines and appurtenances, inspection and patrolling of transmission systems, right of way, install and maintain underground and overheard optical fibres, skills transfer, interpret and enforce grid codes, national energy policy and electricity acts/ amendments, technical audit and technical reports. I have also experience in energy system integration and management, environmental assessment techniques, energy auditing, engineering design and drawing, and innovation as well as exceptional researcher with successful record in coordinating development projects and conducting result-based monitoring and evaluation ability in Renewable Energy Systems. Position : Graduate Trainee

Period : 10th December, 2018 to date

Duties include

Construct and Maintain high voltage electrical power lines lines

Inspection and patrolling of electrical power lines and clearance of right of way obstructions

Conduct regulatory inspections and investigations to assess compliance and sets of portfolio standards and applicable guidelines of the power lines regulations are maintained during maintenances

Develop the monthly and weekly planning tasks and report writing.

Facilitate monthly safety and maintenance meetings
