RELEVENT LAB EXPERIENCE
As a part of my academic program, conducting 2 labs per day (6 hours per day) has led to:
Advanced circuit analysis techniques for both complex analog and digital circuitry
Gained great understanding of semiconductor devices circuitry including transistors, diodes, and operational amplifiers as well as other digital ICβs and basic components
Construction and Fabrication aptitude and standards for electronic projects
Using the Max7000 CPLD and simulation software to create digital logic systems
Written several C programs and gained a greater understanding of C and assembly
Using requirements engineering to create a project collaboratively through TAC guidelines
Developed several pieces of software for the use of an ARM Cortex microcontroller using GPIO, ADC, DAC, External Interrupt, Exemption Handling, DMA and timer peripherals
Developed several programs for Labview for automated testing including curve tracing, reading signals from sensors and actuator data, and frequency response measurements
Creating circuits for interfacing sensors and actuators
Handled and analysed PID controllers for rotational mechanical systems
Applied previous control knowledge to predict the behaviour of motors, heat sink temperatures, and rotational mechanical systems
Using Wireshark to analyse TCP IP and HTML based protocols and network activity
Understanding several forms of wireless communication through analysing different components of each circuit including AM, FM, Delta Modulation, Microwave communication, OFDM and other forms of digital communication
Understanding several network protocols relating to LAN, WIFI and others
Extensive knowledge of I2C, USART, SPI, MODBUS, and SCADA
