Responsible for performing CT & MRI examination as required by staff physicians under the Direction of Radiologist.

Work under the Direction of the Radiologist performs those Duties Directly involved with variety to Technical procedures to provide Qualtiy Radiographs.

To work standby for MRI, CT and Angio (Special proceedures).

Responsible for all patient Imaging proceedures and all patient safety protocols.

Performs Radiographic Proceedures with an independent judgement.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

Receiving and completing reacquisition forms and Reports.

Preparing and Monitoring supplies and equipment.

Patient Monitoring and Operating, acquisition equipment, including Arching acquired Images and Computerized patient Data Systems.

PERFORMANCE OF MRI IMAGING PROCEDURES:

Evaluation of Requisition & Medical Records.

Identification of patient.

Documentation of patient History including Allergies.

Safety Screening and patient Education Concerning the

procedures.

Patient care and Assessment.

Preparation of Examination Room.

Select Optimal Imaging coil.

Patient positioning.

Protocol Selection.

Parameter Selection

Image display, Filiming and Archiving.

Documentation of procedures and patient Data in Appropriate Records.
