I am a 30-year-old African female and I hold a National Diploma in Surveying from Tshwane University of Technology. I have 1 year experience with Eskom as a Technician in training. Assist in all the survey work

Carry out the projects given

Peg points for power lines using Trimble GPS, Mapping for electrification, As-built

Setting up instruments

Operating variety of survey instruments

Conducting survey instrument

Capturing, querying and analyzing geospatial data

Performing general office administration

Gathering and preparing technical data from presentation

Manipulating vector and raster data to visually present information

Housekeeping for all completed survey projects

Taking minutes in meetings.

Setting out for structure and profiling survey

Filling distribution environmental screening documents at site(DESD)

Exporting feeders using small world

Preparing way leave sketch, locality plan, route plan and windeed before carrying out the project given

Documents control (keeping detailed records of documents and accurate filing)

Calibrating instruments

Drawing span plan using micro station ( for the completed project)

Converting DNG files to KMZ files

Polar calculations and height calculations

Getting coordinates of power poles using small world.

Optimize line routes

Negotiate right of way for power routes (by obtaining signed options, way leaves and approval from land owners and statuary authorities.
