WORK EXPERIENCE – POST TERTIARY EDUCATION

Carrick-Wealth : 2013 - 2015

(Associate Assistant)

As an Associate Assistant, I worked directly under the Associate arranging meetings and dealing with client liaison and client administration work. This entailed being in direct contact with product providers and offshore pension companies to arrange transfers. A large portion of the job included research. This research was geared towards finding the best possible solutions and providers tailored for our clients within the Offshore Market.

Aqua Transport : 2015 - 2016

(Cost Estimator)

Aqua Transport is a transporting company specializing in the construction of gravel roads. The majority of the work obtained was the rebuilding of gravel roads in outlying areas to make these areas more accessible for the local communities.

My job description was mainly cost estimating with regards to the plant/machinery being used on site. This entailed time frames of these items on site as well as actual time usage on site to make the process as efficient as possible.

I was also involved for a period with the tendering process of these jobs.

Booysens Refrigeration : 2016 - Current

(Project/Division Manager)

An industrial and commercial refrigeration company specializing in a few avenues such as the construction of cold rooms & freezer rooms, ventilation, refrigeration, and ammonia systems. Sites are distributed across the country and into Southern Africa.

My involvement as a Manager has been based around facilitating new and ongoing developments. The project management from quoting and planning stages to completion, this includes project cost estimating, buying of materials, managing on site technicians and office administration staff, overseeing project processes, monitoring actual costs, client liaison, and supplier relationships.
