Software’s: TORA, Solid Works, Smart Draw, SPSS (Basic), MS-Office. B.Tech Project (Under the guidance of Prof. K Uma Maheshwar Rao) Experimental Investigations on the effect of Length to Diameter Ratio on Uniaxial Compressive Strength Using Mortar Samples:
In this study, the shape effect on the UCS and Resilient Modulus was investigated by testing dry cores with L/D ratio from 1 to 4:1 at five different Loading Rates 10-5 s-1, 5*10-4 s-1, 10-4 s-1, 5*10-3 s-1 and 10-3 s-1
Compared the failure patterns of the Samples tested under different Loading rates with ASTM C39/C39M-12a.
Based on the results Statistical Analysis is done for UCS Vs Loading Rate, UCS Vs L/D ratio, Resilient Modulus Vs Loading rate, Resilient Modulus Vs L/D ratio.
M.Tech Project (Under the guidance of Prof. K Uma Maheshwar Rao) Study of Uniaxial Compressive Strength and Splitting Tensile Strength of Concrete Samples under different Strain Rates:
In this study Concrete Samples are tested for Uniaxial Compressive Strength and Splitting Tensile Strength with three different Strain rates 10-6 s-1, 5*10-5 s-1 and 10-3 s-1 for 7 and 14 days of curing.
Compared the failure patterns of the Samples tested for UCS under three different Loading rates with ASTM C39/C39M-12a.
Based on the results, the relationship and trends of UCS and Splitting Tensile Strength with three strain rates for different curing days are obtained.
