Completed all the requirements for the degree. Has a heavy emphasis on microbiology as well as neuroscience. Through this university, I have accumulated 2 years of microbiology/general biology lab experience. Completed all microbiology courses West Texas A&M has to offer with excellent final grades. Exceptionally literate in the microbiology and cell biology laboratories.
Completed a vast amount of neuroscience and human psychology based courses. Written multiple peer review papers for these courses as well, these peer review papers gave students a headstart on the world of science journal publication and research studies. Neuroscience and human psychology courses average GPA was 4.0.
Senior year, education was heavily focused on genetics and cell biology. While at Texas A&M university I was a lab TA for multiple labs with students. I was a lab TA for microbiology as well as medical microbiology. In these labs I had to inoculate cultures, prepare the lab materials, assure all students safely, teach students to use lab machines correctly and make sure the appropriate protocol for labs were followed. Other Work Experience
I was also a TA for human physiology. In this lab I was responsible for instructing students the appropriate ways to dissect, clean tools, find and identify body parts and understand functions of the human body. Duration: 1 academic semester
Organic chemistry SI, for a semester while at Texas A&M university I was a supplemental instructor for organic chemistry students. I prepared study material as well as arranged meeting times working around their schedule to study. These study sessions consisted of student questions, problem solving and theory consultation.
